LIQUID, The Beauty Bar was established in January 2002 by sisters Paula Edwards and Julie Maginn. Their idea was to start a full service salon with a trendy twist.
The name LIQUID came from the variety of diverse products used within the salon, all in liquid form.
The Beauty Bar states that it’s not just another hair salon but a place where everybody knows your name. Our atmosphere is friendly and fun topped off with professional quality service.
As sisters growing up in Sarnia, they appreciated the beauty of the city. They wanted a way to portray this image in their salon. They have done this by making the clients feel and look their very best.
They completed their education in cosmetology and have further taken courses to keep current. They are educating themselves regularly with the support of their main network of products (Schwartzkopf, Pureology, PCA skin care etc.).
Paula has worked in the industry for 13 years. Her education began in London, Ontario for esthetics and completed hairdressing in Sarnia in 1997. Her crazy ideas and room for change are a big part of her contributions to the business.
Julie has worked in the industry for 12 years. Her cosmetology education has stayed local, completing in 1996. Her organizational skills and strong business ethics is what she’s all about.
On top of staying current with ongoing education, they pride themselves on customer service and loyalty to their clients.
